Accessing Altify's MCP Servers

The Altify MCP (Model Context Protocol) package allows AI assistants to access your Altify and Salesforce opportunity data. You can easily generate summarized Opportunity Manager data - updating and creating records if required - and strategic intelligence that will guide your next steps toward winning the deal. All of this takes place in natural language conversations between you and your AI assistant.

The Altify MCP managed package makes the following servers available for connection to your AI assistant:

Altify Account MCP [not relevant to Opportunity Manager] The Altify Account server generates strategic guidance for account plans, analyzing the plan in depth, assessing weaknesses, recommending actions to strengthen the plan, and providing intelligence in advance of meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Altify Salesforce MCP The Altify Salesforce server lets you search and retrieve data about opportunities, accounts, and contacts using flexible queries.
Altify Analysis MCP The Altify Analysis server provides intelligent, AI-driven analysis of your sales opportunities. It evaluates deal health, identifies risks and vulnerabilities, generates strategic recommendations, and helps you prepare for sales calls.
Altify Retrieve MCP The Altify Retrieve server provides direct access to your recorded sales data without any AI interpretation. Use these tools when you want to see exactly what has been captured — your assessment answers, competitor information, decision criteria, relationship maps, insight maps, action items, and coaching session records.
Altify Write MCP

The Altify Write server lets you create new records and update existing ones directly from your AI assistant. You can record assessment answers, map contact relationships, document decision criteria, create insight cards, and manage tasks.

All write operations use a two-step confirmation workflow — you first see a preview of what will be created or changed, then confirm before any data is written. This ensures accuracy and gives you a chance to review before committing.

Note: Your administrator can names these servers as they see fit when they are setting up the MCP servers apps in your AI assistant.

Connecting with ChatGPT

The following steps outline how to connect your ChatGPT agent with the Altify MCP servers that have been set up by your administrator

  1. In ChatGPT, select your Workspace.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select Apps in the Settings menu.

  4. Click Add more (or Explore apps if there you have no enabled apps yet).

  5. Select one of the five Altify MCP Servers and click Connect.

    Note: These servers are named by your administrator. If you don't see the Altify servers, you should speak to your administrator. They may not have been shared with you yet.

  6. Complete the OAuth process by logging in to your Salesforce org - your agent is now connected to the server.

Using Altify Connectors in a ChatGPT Conversation

Connectors are enabled on a per-conversation basis. To activate the Altify connectors in a new or existing conversation:

  1. In a ChatGPT conversation, click the + button and select the relevant server (app).

  2. Ask your question. ChatGPT will refer to the connected app and your org data in generating its response. You may need to confirm that you wish ChatGPT to proceed with the query or action.

Connecting with Claude

The following steps outline how to connect your Claude agent with the Altify MCP servers that have been set up by your administrator.

  1. Open Settings from the user menu or using the keyboard shortcut

  2. Select Connectors from the left-hand menu

  3. Locate the Altify connectors (marked as Custom) and click Connect for each one.

    Note: These servers are named by your administrator. If you don't see the Altify servers, you should speak to your administrator. They may not have been shared with you yet.

    The first time you, you will be taken through a brief OAuth authentication flow. Once connected, the connector status changes to Configure (indicating it is active).

Using Altify Connectors in a Conversation

Connectors are enabled on a per-conversation basis. To activate the Altify connectors in a new or existing conversation:

  1. Click the + button in the message input area.

  2. Select Connectors from the menu.

  3. Toggle on the Altify connectors you wish to use for this conversation.

Connecting with Copilot

The following steps outline how to connect your Microsoft Copilot Studio agent with the Altify MCP servers that have been set up by your administrator.

  1. Open Copilot Studio.

  2. Open the copilot/agent you want to work on.

  3. Go to Tools.

  4. Choose Add a tool.

  5. Select an Altify MCP Server and complete your Salesforce org authentication.

    Note: These servers are named by your administrator. If you don't see the Altify servers, you should speak to your administrator. They may not have been shared with you yet.

  6. Repeat until you are connected with the five Altify MCP Servers.

  7. Start your conversation with Altify.
