Product Line Items

If product line splits are enabled by your administrator, your account plan accommodates the mapping of Salesforce Products to Altify Solutions, and automatically maps each opportunity product with the relevant solution on the Pipeline page.

Suppose that you're working a current opportunity to sell two solutions as a single package: a 'Training' progam worth $17,000 and an 'Installation' worth $12,000.

This gives a total amount of $29,000.

With product line item splitting enabled, Altify automatically splits this opportunity over the two solution rows - as shown in the example below.

When you click into one of these solutions, you can see how much of the overall opportunity is represented by the solution – $17,000 in this case – and the full value of the opportunity.

On the other hand, when product line item splitting is disabled, the software shows the opportunity on a single row (where you imported it) with a single amount:
